We want to give everyone an update on the changes that have been made for this year’s Halloween events on Harvest and Columbus Day weekends. These changes are based on the CDC guidelines that were recently released for Halloween events.
***All regularly scheduled activities and events are on, with the minor changes below per CDC guidelines***
Harvest Halloween Weekend (October 2-4):
-Trick-or-treating: Campers wishing to offer Trick-or-Treating at their campsites are asked to provide only treats that come prepackaged. Sorry, no homemade treats. We ask that treats be spread out on a picnic table, rather than bowl and maintain social distancing.
-Costume Contest: Participants will line up on left side coming into pavilion and will be given a placard to write down what their costume is. CDC approved masks must be worn by all participants and spectators. CDC approved masks can be incorporated in costumes, but cannot be covered by costumes.
Columbus Day Weekend (October 9-12):
-Haunted Hayride: This year we will offer a Haunted Walk! Following CDC Guidelines, this year campers will view the decorated sites on foot through the regular Haunted route or by Golf Cart… Sorry, no cars or trucks. We ask that you please stay with your camping group and social distance from others. If closer than 6 feet, please wear CDC recommended masks.
